  Class Description

In this first class, you will be introduced to the key of simply noticing how your experience is right now. Using basic mind/body mindfulness meditation practice, we begin our journey of befriending all experience with awareness and friendly inquiry.

We will focus on:

  • Instruction for mindfulness practice as a way to befriend all experience that shows itself to you – through thoughts, feelings and body sensations.
  • The why’s and how’s of brain re-sculpting tools will be introduced as the means for building new pathways in the brain as the whole body’s neurological system learns to calm itself down.
  • Direct experience of how the tools work will start with a guided meditation to help settle the mind in the present moment.
  • Exploring and setting your intentions for being in this online course as you prepare yourself to be fully engaged with what’s offered at your own pace.

As a general suggestion, please watch the videos in each class sequentially (Video 1 and then Video 2). Each class also includes guided meditations and written materials.
